  • As mentioned, NYC has been hit with storms but nowhere near the frequency of the southern areas. Hence the buildings are far less likely to be as weather-resistant, so yes it may be a Cat 1 but they are hitting a city not used to such weather.

  • This is not about if he IS going to marry his partner or even about gay marriage itself. It is about a judge who essentially granted himself a new set of benefits with his ruling. If this was anything BUT gay marriage the conflict would be obvious. You're 100% correct, JJ, on both counts.
